They claimed they are sorry but they are truly not sorry. Since they do this to us MAC Users all the time. Like we are second rate.

I won't buy the game since EA doesn't care about Mac users at all. I'll wait until they make Sims 5 be focus on MACs FIRST. That'll way it'll be fair.

They'll never make a game focused on MACs first. Sorry but it won't happen, not enough people have MACs AND play sims. They are a business and they need to make money.

Fine EA wants to be that way. I'll start my own business only for macs Games. I'll make my own version of Sims that is way better than all of the SIMS 1,2,3,4 combine.

They just released the sims 4, you'll have to wait quite a few years for the sims 5 if they even make it. Also you can just use bandcamp on your mac to play the sims.

bootcamp cost money. I don't want to install a bootcamp just for me to play the sims on my MAC cause to me that is the cowards way out. Show how lazy EA is. Not caring for the MAC Users. The only way I'll buy Sims 4 for MAC now is if they make World Tool feature for MACs.

I agree with Chris on this most people have windowns PC's than there are Mac users so that is what they focused on first...how ever to be fair both versions should have been sent out at the same time...than everyone would be happy! Its sad but this is how they look to make their investment pay off for them...at least the Mac version will be out so that Mac users can use it too....they just should've have been released at the same time just for the fairness of it

This what I think I don't know what month in 2015 but my guess would be this Probably September 02, 2015. So they can say they kinda kept their promise but year too late.

But what does that have to do with anything? No one said that there are games only for Mac, nobody is arguing that.

I think miss understood what I was saying. I want to know any PC Users want a game but it's only for a MAC. If PC Users find a game they like but they can't get it cause it's only on MAC. Tell me. tell me. I'll tried to help you guys out.

Since PC users think PC is good for gaming. How about bootcamp them with a MAC program software. I challenge some one to create that.

It's apple that really needs to respond to the user base and create a gaming machine/OS flavour. I have a macbook pro myself but if I play flash games on it (which you would think wouldn't hurt because apple and adobe are tight) my otherwise quiet fans start to make noise like a low flying jet engine. My PC tower hums a bit to begin with but doesn't get nearly that noisy unless I'm playing an actual game. Honestly I just wish the mac fanbase would stop trying to fit a square into a circular hole by saying "it's so great, why is nobody making software for it?". The real problem lies in that apple is EXTREMELY secretive about their hardware/software so that really closes doors on developers unless there's some SDK and licensing they're willing to pony up the cash for (and we're just the consumers, the cost to developers would be much greater because apple has to make money back somehow).

Macs themselves also need better airflow. I really worry when such an expensive thing gets that hot to the touch, knowing what can happen to gaming PCs under the same conditions. It's a big expensive problem waiting to happen. People like to think that it's as simple as a recode but it's not, they really need to examine the hardware to give the same gaming experience and just to prolong the life of the hardware.

Don't get me wrong here, macs are still relatively powerful machines, but they really shine as a tool for graphic design and animation (not so much 3D though, but that's improving), which is more of an industry thing. As someone who works in the graphic design/animation industry I can say it was more than worth the money for me to get a macbook pro, but if I'd wanted to get a laptop for gaming or even general school stuff I probably would've just got a PC. Too expensive for a word processor with a built in camera, music software and a video editing suite that I may or may not use.

Also why is every odd person writing MAC and SIMS all in caps? They are not acronyms.
