Sims 4: No Toddlers and No Pools at launch

    Bad news folks, the Sims 4 team has just posted a new entry in their blog and have confirmed that we won't be seeing Pools or Toddlers in the game at launch. It's a real shame, I know everyone was looking forward to them!

    What the fuck...
    Ugh...what the hell is wrong with them. It seems like it is more news about stuff being taken out the game than they share what is in it.
    Toddlers were in the base game in The Sims 3 and The Sims 2. And pools? Shoot, those were in THe Sims 1...what are they doing?
    Even I am being put off from spending $60 on this watered down piece of....

    I'm ok with this. I mainly play teen-young adults i think their going to save it for an ep. The only thing i'm worried about is it wont be anything new to add to them

    To be honest, I'll gladly sacrifice toddlers and pools if it means being able to play a game compatible with windows 8. Does it suck? Yeah. But I won't shed any tears over it. Besides, I really think they'll add toddlers in an EP. They put emphasis on the fact that toddlers aren't in the BASE game. *shrugs*

    I honestly don't mind. I wasn't a fan of the Toddler life stage anyway, and pools are just pools. They'll probably add both in an upcoming EP. Maybe the reason they're not included in the base game is because they have better plans for them in an EP. Maybe they couldn't fit everything they wanted in time, so they decided to stick 'em in an EP instead. Who knows? We'll just have to wait and see.
