    Hello
First, I'd like to say this: I am hanging onto Windows by a thread. There are exactly 2 games I am still using Windows for: TS3 and Civ V. I also use a couple windows-specific programming APIs, but I could change that if it meant I could go Linux-only. That being said, for the people out there who say 'just use wine'. Wine disgusts me. I'm not talking about the drink, I'm talking about the thing for Linux that lets you run Windows progams in Linux. Wine doesn't work well for games, and I end up switching back to windows using dual-boot.
That being said, I would greatly enjoy seeing TS4 available on Linux. I believe that everything native to linux runs faster than it's windows-native counterpart. This has been shown in Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and multiple other videogames. So please, give me TS4 native to Linux.
Benchmarked: Ubuntu vs. Windows Vista vs. Windows 7
Left 4 Dead 2 faster on Linux, Valve says

I think that TS4 should be Linux. I believe that every game should be made with every platform, especially if it is for a computer. You shoudn't have to miss out on a game due to which OS you have.

I do get playing a game that isn't native to your OS can be strenuous and annoying...having to open Wine to play sims 3, dual booting, and such. I had that issue with my Mac even though I have Windows, and I just don't bother dual booting my Mac. It's easier just having another Window's laptop.

I know all about Linux and it is a very stable and good OS. There are plenty of people who use it and there should be more software natively made for it. They can even sneak a Linux installation .exe or file in the PC version. Just like now some Sims 3 Discs are for Mac/PC.

What is "Linux" and what does distribution and or Linux have to do with each other?

Linux is an OS, kind of like Windows, but with waaaay more security. Some programs and apps that works on Mac and Windows may not work in Linux, because it's an independent OS, made by everybody in the world that understands programming.
People who use Linux can't install The Sims because they aren't compatible. That's the main issue here ;)

Yeah sorry about that. Spambots are a butt.

Their owners seriously need to find lives.

Yes, it should. I have some friends that prefer Linux to other OS's, but still need them because of all the software incompatibility there is...

Maybe in a few years that will improve with programs over all.

Hope so... Linux really is a great OS, I just don't use it because of those big details --,

The best thing you'll ever do... But it takes some time to get used to... The first time I looked at it, it was like.. "What?"
But it's simpler now, however. They showed me the alien part of ancient Linux in my Networks course xD

What would you say is the best feature?

The security of it... It's very hard for a hacker, or a virus for that matter, to get in a Linux system...

That is very appealing especially with CISPA coming out in the US (pretty much a thing in the process of passing that allows the government to see what you do online)

Well... I think the programming and cryptography brains still can find a way through... It has the best security, but it still isn't infallible...
