What was your favorite Sims 2 expansion?

    Mines had to be Apartment Life! Living in apartments was awesome in TS2 and I wish TS3 could had done better with the apartment option. It is nice to make any house apartment style but there were just no apartments we could place in the game.

    Apartment Life added a whole new way of living. My sims were more social, there was more to do at home, and my Sims really had a blast.

    That was one of my favorites too! The other one was Open for Business... I always used to have a shop somewhere, but started making one at home instead... Since going to the actual shop and back took forever and the time just wasn't right... Close the shop by 6pm, go back home, it's still 7am and my Sim was sleepwalking... No good -_-

    I loved Apartment Life! I'd have to say my favorite would either have to be Pets or University. I was obsessed with making sure every household had a pet when I was younger.

    Sims 2 University was tons of fun too!!! I loved the dorms and majors a lot! I love Sims 3 University Life so much too! It's so fun!

    I would say Seasons is my favorite expansion pack, it just makes the game seem more realistic.

    I agree, in TS2 it seemed to make it more realistic with the noises from next door compared to TS3 when it really was just a small place to live. I did like the rest of Late Night though.

    I loved the class names in TS2 University, with TS3 University I was a bit disappointed with the names of classes, they weren't as great.

    Well, there is still a year ahead of us... When TS2's Mansion and Garden SP came out, TS3 came 8 months later... There's still time for a little good-bye one that isn't Island Paradise, i think

    I looked at The Sims 3 Wikipedia, and it looks like in the fall there will be a futuristic expansion and a movie themed stuff pack in September.

    My favorites were Apartment Life, Night Life, and University... mostly because that is all I have. But I love them together, it was like they melted together so right :)
    Hopefully they add OFB before they totally shut down TS3... that would be awesome!

    I think EA, not Maxis, but EA got lazy with things or rushed production. When Maxis was by themselves, the Sims games were better, but idk, things went kinda down hill with TS3.

    What happened to the dog trainer?

    As you said, the noises from the apartments? Where are the real apartment buildings?

    Why cant our roommates have kids and progress in TS3? I wouldn't mind if my roommate got married and why when the roommate has an alien baby, it is added to my family? I don't want it.

    There were just so many cooler items in TS2 than TS3. The genies bought surprises on TS2 and these TS3 genies don't surprise me at all. I liked the dogs more...on TS3, I get tired of my pet lol.

    The thing TS3 in total has over TS2 is the seamless options, customization, progression between the whole town which I love, and the sims are smarter and can take way better care of themselves and their families.

    TS3 is better with that but TS2 was more memorable. I never got bored as many times with TS2 as I had with TS3. I used to didn't always FF the game in TS2. I wanted to do more besides stay at home most the time.

    TS3 is still good, i am not a complainer, just felt like TS2 was more rich in content and entertainment.

    Lol wow. That video is epic. And so true!

    EA takes over everything and buys out everything, especially the stuff you love without fail, monitizes it and when it doesn't sell as much as they want it to anymore...SNIP!

    That wil be Simcity and Sims 4 if that was confirmed to be online. They made the right choice with Sims 4 being offline.
