Can't switch between neighbourhoods

    Hi I've just bought the Sims 4 and I enjoyed a few days of gameplay. Then one day when I wanted to play, I realised that my map was permanently stuck on oasis springs and whenever I clicked on the icon to let me go to willow creek, the map remains on oasis springs. :( I cannot travel between neighbourhoods either and the loading screens take a really long time.

    Anyone have any ideas why?
