i'm in "other places" on the site but posting here for contest eligibility! who doesn't want a free laptop and free/discounted games? bonus!

i'm kind of a boring lass but here goes: single white female ISO...wait, wrong bio! i'm a mom, government mule, and amateur gamer. i play a few MMORPGs and TS3; been living vicariously through my sims since the original. outside of gaming I have my fave TV shows (ummm...GoT, Doctor Who, SOA, Orphan Black, TBBT, Scandal, Justified, Graham Norton, CraigyFerg, and i'm sure i'm forgetting some), love movies & music (currently in a classic rock phase) and I can be a tad eccentric. i'm a devout anglophile and i love speaking in different accents and dialects just for the fun of it. hablo español casi fluentemente y tengo muchos amigos latinos, especificamente la familia Hernández de El Salvador. i also enjoy cooking (baking!), preferrably with organic and minimally processed foodstuffs, native/non-invasive gardening for wildlife and home DIY projects. i write poetry and short stories when i'm bored or just feeling overly expressive. i also like to use all lowercase letters and make up words or say things in weird ways just because it's fun.

my fave sim right now is my insane and inappropriate co-ed and astronaut-to-be Zelma Phrank. i love it when she eats flies and slaps around the mean boys! my sim obsession is redecorating (thank you, motherlode!).

in person i'm actually very quiet and shy until i know you and trust you...then you'll just wish i'd shut up already.

and i don't know why but right now as i move my shirt is squeaking as it rubs my desk. i guess if bumbles can bounce then shirts can squeak...

Are you kids into video games, as well? That'd be neat to have a whole gaming family.

yes, my kids started me gaming and they hate it lol. i come home and see them playing something new and then i try it and get hooked and take over. that's how i got started on the sims way back in the day...my older son's elementary school friend said "hey, try this" and we were all instantly addicted. i made a sim recently (Freedom Wright) that my younger son liked and took over (she was my original insane, inappropriate rebel astronaut) then he changed her traits and made her a whole new person and that's how Zelma was born.

we all used to play WoW together but i got tired of Wow and quit it a year or two ago and i'm pretty sure they've both quit it now, too. i mostly play sims and Guild Wars 2 and my younger son and i are testing out Neverwinter. he's 15 and more into his xbox right now, though. thanks for the reply, too. makes me feel special!

I, too, used to be on the WoW bandwagon. It took up SO MUCH of my time. I miss being able to interact with people in-game, but obviously I'm not missing it too much, seeing as I've made TS3 my front-running game. I do have quite a few games on Steam, my next favorite being Skyrim, but they just don't get much attention these days compared to TS3.

I think we have decorating in common, for me I have to have everything match in a tasteful manner from CAS to the houses and cars.
