Long time Sims fan, first time poster

    Hey guys I live in Victoria, BC Canada. Admittingly, I came here because of the contest. Looking forward to Sims4 though!! I've owned them all since launch day. Maxis can almost never do wrong by me.

    What's your favorite part of Sims 3? Mine is the gardening system. Seriously. Blows harvest moon or farmville or all those others out of the water. How difficult is it to get a perfect garden going?? I

    Welcome to the site, I came here for the contest as well. I don't have all the sims games but I have a pretty decent collection. Maxis can't do wrong but EA can I'm a bit upset about SimCity and hope to plumbob TS4 won't be like that. I do enjoy the gardening as well, one of my current sims (Brad Majors) loves to garden, I finally got plums and cherries from his wife's (Janet Majors) adventures. However my favorite part of TS3 is probably the fact that we can customize everything. I'm a bit OCD and I like everything to match.

    Very nice to meet you Victoria! I live REALLY close to you over in Bellingham WA, so I have been where you live which is AWESOME! XD
    I have played ALMOST all of TSS (The Sims Series), and I have a good collection as well!

    My favorite aspect is the weather (now that I have it XD) and as well as being able to customize everything. I think that the most I download from the exchange is the textures and other things like that so their bed, walls, floors and all of that can somewhat match! :)

    Welcome, flowwolf! I am SO jealous of your beautiful locale! I cannot wait to visit BC again.

    I agree that the gardening system is great. It gives reasonably fast results for a fun activity that you can do in between torturing your Sim with workouts and long hours at the office!

    Hey Flowwolf! Welcome to the forums!

    There is no shame in coming for the contest. But yes, let's see my favorite part about The Sims 3. In the base game, I would say it would be how much smarter the sims were and the seamless world....customization too.

    But wit all the expansion packs, uhhhh....Seasons. I hope in TS4, they do not wait another 4 years to release Seasons.

    Oh my goodness, yes! The introduction of a seamless world! That was such a huge advancement that sat in the background of the game but made such a significant difference. I can't wait to see the amount of realism TS4 brings!

    I totally agree! The seamlessness of TS3 BETTER be in TS4 but maybe in a whole new way. Donno how they could make that even better, but they probably will find a way. And I can't agree more with you on the realism! That will be SO exciting!!


    I agree with you 110%. We shouldn't have to wait on WEATHER!! XD
