The Sims 4 is rated 18 in Russia. Probably for the gay-friendly vibe of the Sims games.

It looks like we can expect the small releases of new Sims 4 information to continue right up until E3 where, reading between the lines, it seems likely they’ll be announcing the release date for The Sims 4.

Almost all of the SimGurus on twitter working on The Sims 4 have now updated their profile photos to their Sims 4 counterparts. We’ve also had confirmation that the video the devs are releasing on Wednesday will be a Create a Sim video featuring the Goths.

It’s nice that we are finally getting a steady stream of news and images of the game but everything is focused on CaS. I know they’re keeping their cards close to their chest before E3 but now that we know what every variation of a sim could possibly look like in CaS I’m becoming more desperate for other news, which probably means their marketing campaign is working. What is the world like that our sims will be living in? Are there multiple towns in the base game? What will the jobs/careers system be like? So many questions swirling around my head before E3 next month.

In the meantime satiate your appetites with these new pictures (from CaS of course).

UPDATE: The Sims Spokesperson Issues a Statement

Last week The Sims 4 received an 18+ rating in Russia for allowing same sex relationships due to anti-gay legislation that passed recently.

Deborah Coster, spokesperson for The Sims, had this to say:

"We have no plans to alter The Sims 4. One of the key tenets of The Sims is that it is up to the player to decide how to play the game. We provide the simulation sandbox and player choice and creativity does the rest." —Deborah Coster, Polygon.com

CAST like color wheel?

Judging from the new pictures from the preview of the new Create-A-Sim video premiering tomorrow; The guy with the mohawk has red in it. Which makes me start to wonder if there will be a way to create our own colors again? It could be just simple presets but I really would love the choice of creating my own mix-n-match hair colors. It would be nice to be able to download cc hair that has ombre options that I can create my own hair colors. That was my favorite thing about cast and having hair channels. I would love to see a color wheel in the game atleast instead of cast.

They may keep the colour palette but not the texture changer which is cool with me. All I ever did with CAST was change colours.

So, I really enjoyed the CAS video released yesterday and I am sooooooooo excited ........................ here is links which provides much more detailed information. I also noticed three things .......................................
Two in the neighborhood........................the city buildings behind the house (could be open neighborhood) and the search option in build mode. both are just excellent....................................





and the other was a flaw in the game......................... can you see what it is.

There is just one think I need to express................ I am not crazy about the sims teeth. But the rest I think is awesome......................... I also noticed that there is no hair movement, when the sims turns around in the CAS mode.
