Please Help!!!!!

So yesterday i was playing a family in sims 4 with two adults and two kids who go to school. So the kids went to school, and came back home, but their icons said they were still at school, and I couldn't control them. I tried 'leave school early option' and that didn't work. I moved the family out of the house and into a new one, and THAT didn't even work! The kids are 'still at school' but are actually at home! Has anyone else experienced this and or know how to change it?

When it happened to me I used the option to leave early and they were home...I did have one that refused so I didnt save the game where they were and logged out and came back and when it was time for him to come home he did...that was the only time I had that issue and what I did to fix it

It did fix itself. But now I have ANOTHER problem. One of my sims bills are due, but im not getting any options, and now they have 24 hours before their hydro gets shut off.....

Not sure about that one...so far I have had no issues about bill payments...did you check on your computer or phone or mailbox to see if a bill is indeed due? I check sometimes cause it doesn't always give me the prompt to let me know a bill is due....just to be on the safe said

What happened was the bills ended up in one of my sims inventory which was preventing me from paying the bills. I must have clicked get bills not pay bills and thats what happened.
