    Thanks for your donation princessmei! :) one months V.I.P is $6.99 though. Donating using our donation tool and subscribing to V.I.P are too different things. If you upgrade and pay for V.I.P through http://sims4forum.com/account/upgrades it all happens automatically.

    For people who donate the equivalent to a V.I.P sub (minimum of $6.99 for one month) using our donation sidebar widget/page, I have to manually upgrade them myself, which depends on how quick I see the payment notification.

    We really appreciate your donation @princessmei :) thanks! Unfortunately though it wasn't enough for V.I.P. I would maybe be inclined to make exceptions, but it wouldn't be fair on the members that paid the $6.99 for the one month sub.

    I don't mind not being able to use the Shoutbox (if that's what we're talking about).
    I agree with Chris about not being a chatroom, from previous experience I think some people tend to focus more on chatting away in there, which then turns into a lengthy discussion, of which could easily have been made into a thread instead. Then it gets to a point where the shoutbox is looking more active than the forums, and nobody wants that! :eek:

    I'm not really sure what to suggest for a compromise, I'm not even sure if there is one.
    I think it's really just up to whoever is posting in the shoutbox to ensure that they are still actively participating in forum discussions too.
