Trying to keep up to date with screens and videos

Aaah okay!! There's so much new info out there, it's hard to keep up with it all and many sites are just letting out so much each day so I can only imagine with the rest of the week will bring haha!!

The thing I'm curious about is if there's actually going to be "fears" like in the previous games.

IvoryOwl, from what we learned, there will be no fears, just "whims".

What a shame... oh well, I can live without it.

I haven't heard anything about fears, either, and I believe turn ons and turn offs were confirmed as not being included. I think that they're moving towards a more sophisticated way of integrating those sorts of things (fears, turn ons, etc.). Since traits will have more of an impact on a Sim's emotions, I would guess that this will affect who they get attracted to and how easily they can maintain the attraction. Even feeling "fear" could be handled that way. For instance, perhaps a teenager with the perfectionist trait will become anxious more easily over performance concerns at school or in something they're learning.
