Is it dirty?

Pretty much. We live right beside a small river and it's filled with garbage really, and you see the ducks and swans swimming in it every day, there's always litter everywhere, it's depressing. I miss Scotland, haha.

That sounds a bit like the Mississippi River (at least in the southern US)...full of trash and smells like a dirty dog. (I grew up in Mississippi, btw)

Ooh, we were hoping to get to move with my father in law when he heads that way sometime before the year ends. (NH, that is) Good to know it's a nice place to live.

It is beautiful, I live near the White Mountains. The mountains are beautiful, I live in a small town, it is so different, everyone talks to you. Everyone knows everyone. Where ever I look I see God beauty. You will love it. Even the snow is beautiful, looks just like a Christmas picture card. I have a bike path that runs along a river across from me, it is a very nice place to walk. goes one mile one way, and two miles the other to a lake.
