Windows 8.1

Hello, all!

I play on a custom built gaming PC that runs Windows 8. Except that Sims Medieval isn't compatible with Windows 8, I haven't had any problems with The Sims 3...until now. The other day, Windows prompted me to update to version 8.1 so I did. My TS3 plays, but the color is off - everything is tinted yellow! Even the bars that tell you if they're hungry, sleepy, etc. The color for the rest of my apps is fine.

I've tried everything in-game I can think of. My last two options are: try to roll back to 8.0 (which MS says is easier said than done) and upgrading a driver for my video card.

Does anyone else have any other causes or fixes that might work? It's horrific playing the game with a yellow tint!

Thanks,
Dawn

OK so never mind. It wasn't a Windows or Sims issue. My GeForce graphics drivers had failed to update properly. Once I manually updated the software, all was well!

Glad it turned out well Dawn!

Thanks!
