I am a Sagittarius, though on a random note I normally make my sims a Pieces or Gemini

Taurus!! But I honestly don't feel like one. Not sure if anybody here uses natal charts, but according to mine I'm more of a Libra with Uranian tendencies which makes me more detached than a typical Taurus.

I was hatched on May 22. I have no idea what I am or what my sign would mean.

Aquarius.

The only part of being an Aquarius that is truly "me" is the tolerance. I will fight for other peoples right to be who they want, believe what they want, and act how they want as long as it does no harm to others and they don't try to impose their beliefs onto me.

The rest of it? Not really me but I think it has to do with some mumble jumble hoodoo about house/moon/planet/Venus alignment. Stuff that makes my eyes cross trying to read it and understand it, lol.

It's not necessarily mumbo jumbo hoodoo, but I can see how a person can get confused. I was interested in astrology for a long time and only ever looked at my planet placements before I started studying charts. The basics are that your sun sign is your essence YOU! and how you present yourself. Your moon is how you react emotionally to outside stimuli. Your Mercury is how you communicate. Your Venus in a women represents your love style, for a man it represents what he finds attractive in women. Mars, for women is what she finds attractive for a man and for men it's how they assert themselves.

Those 5 planets are called your personal planets and they are in a sense much more important than the outer planets (like jupiter, saturn, neptune, and uranus) which is more generational stuff and doesn't really affect you personally but on a grand scale as a whole. If anybody ever wanted to get their feet wet they should just start with the basics and find out their placements for the 5 planets I just described and study those for a while. I've actually learned quite a bit about myself thru astrology. But you also have to keep in mind that while the energies ARE there in the end you ALWAYS have free will and astrology can just be used as a guide or give you an understanding of why some things are they way they are.
